The Lovedesh 10 Files are a summary and insight into the 10 year plus highs and horrors of my journey to become a start-up. And solutions of how we protect our planet.

Why 11.36am? That is the number I don’t want anyone in the world to forget.  Of the 1136 factory workers died, (mostly women)  when the Rana Plaza factory collapsed in Bangladesh in 2013.
Today I’m very proud to share that we have been working with survivors of Rana Plaza since spring of 2019. Which culminated in the release of the first Lovedesh Tee, a limited edition design to honour and remember those who died
while working as “modern day slaves”.

As well as the the behind scenes journey to develop Lovedesh with my daughter Amber Choudhury-Kaye by my side since she was 8. She is now 19!
Lovedesh 10 Files 
This report lists Lovedesh’s 10 year account (2010-2020) of the array of battles, abuse and anecdotal evidence from grassroots communities and voices within UK and Bangladesh. And of the serious failures within the charity and campaigning world.  As well as other sectors (political) to personal connections who should know better than destroying Lovedesh’s mission of helping society and humanity.  But instead are working to promote their own status and line their own pockets. And when I called them out on it. they instead bullied, threatened me. 
I observed. I witness.  I endured.
It explains it has taken over 10 years for Lovedesh to get started up. And the incredible help given to keep Lovedesh afloat by individuals and organisations behind the scenes, invested in seeing this organisation’s success.
The files also contained a comprehensive account over the past 10 years of researching the root causes of poverty in the UK and Bangladesh. As well as qualitative research I undertook to examine why hatred and racism and modern day slavery continues to exist today.
I’ve also been surprised by those who normally I would’ve expected NOT to have supported Lovedesh in its mission is to protect our planet. But instead I find they have worked over and beyond to assist us. These include factory owners in Bangladesh as well as the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. And an array of British charities who are often not as famous and struggle for funding but yet come forward to support me and my daughter. Either to assist me in a personal capacity to protect my daughter and I, or Lovedesh or my other career as a professional actress.  Special shout out to Equity the Creative Trade Union. 
The array of corruption and unethical conduct I stumbled across is shocking and disappointing. Add the racism and unethical conduct in particular in British political parties, charities and fashion campaigning sector has been stomach churning to witness. 
All of what I have observed and been privy to has saddened me to the core but thankfully I also want to ensure we help the people and organisations in the Lovedesh 10 Files to be given assistance and encouragement to change,
I have also taken this decision especially under Covid to oppose cancel culture and instead find ways to help inspire change. As Cancel Culture should be the last resort.
I now present some of the solutions I as CEO of Lovedesh, am introducing to execute immediate change we are introducing with immediate effect the following which we plan to execute for the remainder of 2020 and all of 2021 . And why I will begin urgently to raise funds and ask those who did wrong to put it right.

  4. Lovedesh Films t& Hate 2 Love Collective o establish voices and art that will create change and employ grassroots voices especially from Rwanda and Bangladesh – we are in process of making a film called Roots of Forgiveness.
  5. Lovedesh Re-Luxe – our retail ethical stores in partnership with third party retail chains
  6. Lovedesh London – a new workshop studio hub designed
  7.  Lovedesh Training  Workshops – designer to re-educate and inspire change by combating modern day slavery, ethical supply chains and expelling racism in the charity, campaigning fashion, FMCG and other sectors.
  8. #SaveJannat Campaign.   To treat Jannat.   A little girl aged 5.  From Bangladesh, to London for medical treatment at Great Ormond Street hospital (to be confirmed), whom we are already in talks with.  We can highlight and promote the need for change particularly in the failing ethical campaign fashion sector.
  9. Lovedesh Atelier – promote and platform global artisans to be paid London Living Wages,.
  10. Lovedesh Fest – #ShutUpForRanaPlaza campaign to promote Lovedesh Tees – “the kindest and fairest t-shirt in the world” –  that sees the world hold a one minute silence for victims of modern day slavery, Jointly led by Lovedesh, Rana Plaza survivors and stakeholders from the world of film, literature, business and music.

Conclusion 
Often many organisations are top-heavy and led by individuals and organisations who are complicit in modern day slavery or are based in European Union or United States of America.  They are also not invested in seeing the fortunes of the poorest and most exploited reach the top.
And at Lovedesh, I as its CEO, I believe in a bottom up approach. And using knowledge, sharing power and accountability led by grassroots. This is how I think Lovedesh will influence decision making. We also plan to award brands free scrutiny and certification for incorporating ethical and sustainable approaches to their supply chain.
